Hello and welcome to our Junk Drawer. One evening we were
sitting on our back porch with some friends carrying on a long
tradition of solving most of the world's problems. (Now you
know who is responsible for taking care of that!) Someone
mentioned they had found something in their junk drawer. After
an in depth discussion and analysis of our respective junk
drawers and what each contained, we realized that every home
more than likely had their version of a "junk drawer."
The
term "junk drawer" which by the way, we have officially taken
ownership of as our own term and which we just may
copyright, can also be a closet, room or any area in your home
that stuff goes that you simply don't know where else to put
it. Some examples of what you find in a typical junk drawer
are: various pencils and pens (most of the pens don't work),
paper clips, nail clippers, ruler, coupons, pieces of paper with
phone numbers and no names to go with it, keys to unknown locks,
an old grocery list, distant cousin photo, undelivered birthday
card and something that rolls around. Somehow something round
always finds its' way into a junk drawer. This can be a marble,
bb pellet or a steel ball, none of which can ever be explained
as to where it came from.
I
am certain that is a much longer description than you needed but
I wanted to give you a background that would enable you to fully
comprehend what this page is all about. Check back here often
as like all junk drawers, there's always a chance you'll find
what you're looking for.
If
you have something you think would be appropriate for our junk
drawer, please submit your suggestions.
Sincerely,
Jeff
